This year we replaced pencils with paint brushes and spent the day revamping the boundary fence at Lower Hutt’s Te Omanga Hospice. It was a privilege to be part of the wider team of volunteers who support this wonderful organisation.

As part of the University of Otago’s refurbishment of the Science Precinct for the Department of Chemistry and the Centre for Trace Element Analysis, a new ISO Class 5 clean room facility was required for the Centre for Trace Element Analysis.

Lab-works Architecture are delighted to have worked with Architectus, who received a NZIA 2018 Architecture award for the design of the new Science Centre at The University of Auckland.

After a delay earlier this year following the demise of Mainzeal Construction, the new Animal Food Nutrition Laboratory at Massey University in Palmerston North is now complete and fully operational. The existing laboratory was housed within a number of small interconnecting rooms in Ag/Hort A dating from the 1970s.
