Ron Pynenburg

Ron is a founding Director of Lab-works Architecture and has over 30 years’ experience as a Registered Architect. Ron is a former president of the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) and has previously chaired the New Zealand Registered Architects Board (NZRAB).

With 20 years’ experience in laboratory design, Ron has now chosen to focus on our Consultation Services, where he provides specialist expert advice on Universal Design and Accessibility, as well as Building Legislation and Statutory Compliance. Working alongside our laboratory designers Ron provides expert analysis and reporting, including feasibility studies and peer reviews.

Ron’s analytical approach to his work results in practical, well-designed and thoughtfully created architecture, benefiting both the client and the community as a whole. His knowledge and problem solving skills bring a wealth of expertise to our team and helps contribute towards the design of award winning health, educational and science facilities.
